Who we are
Ranksy is operated by Blackneon, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Our website is ranksy.pro and our contact email is support@blackneon.ai.
What data we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Usage data
We track how many optimisations and research queries you've used in the current billing period. This is stored against your user ID and used solely for usage enforcement.
Listing data
When you click "Optimise", the extension sends your listing title, tags, description, category, attributes, and price to our servers for AI processing. This data is processed in real-time and never stored. We do not keep copies of your listings.
Competitor research data
When you run competitor research, the search results are cached on our servers for up to 48 hours to improve speed for repeated queries. After 48 hours, cached data is automatically deleted.
Payment information
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe may store payment details in accordance with their own privacy policy.
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
If you use BYOK, your Anthropic API key is stored locally in your browser's extension storage. It is sent to Anthropic's API directly for verification and to our servers for AI processing. We do not log or store your API key on our servers.
How we use your data
- To provide the Ranksy optimisation and research services
- To enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send important service-related emails (e.g., password resets)
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic — AI processing (listing optimisation and competitor research)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database hosting (account and usage data)
- Railway — application hosting
Each of these services has their own privacy policies which govern their handling of data.
Data retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
- Listing data: Not stored. Processed in real-time only.
- Research cache: Automatically deleted after 48 hours.
- Payment records: Retained by Stripe as required by financial regulations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability

Cookies
Ranksy does not use cookies on this website. The browser extension uses Chrome's local storage to store your authentication token and preferences. No tracking cookies are used.
Children
Ranksy is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
