1. Agreement
By using Ranksy (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Ranksy is operated by Blackneon ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Ranksy is a Chrome browser extension that uses artificial intelligence to help Etsy sellers optimise their product listings. The Service includes listing optimisation, competitor research, and related tools provided through the extension and our backend API.
3. Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Ranksy offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year until cancelled.
- Lifetime access is a one-time payment with no recurring charges.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from the Ranksy popup). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
5. Usage limits
Each subscription tier includes a monthly allowance of optimisations and research queries. Usage does not roll over between periods. If you exceed your allowance, you must wait until your next reset date or upgrade your plan.
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) users on eligible plans may use their own Anthropic API key for unlimited access, subject to Anthropic's own terms and rate limits.
6. Fair use
All plans, including Lifetime, are subject to fair-use limits. We reserve the right to restrict access if usage patterns suggest automated, abusive, or commercially excessive use beyond normal individual seller activity.
7. AI-generated content
Ranksy uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate suggestions for your listings. These suggestions are provided as guidance only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any changes before applying them to your Etsy listings. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will improve your search rankings or sales.
8. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your listing content. We do not claim ownership of any content you submit to or generate through the Service. The Ranksy extension, website, and backend software are the intellectual property of Blackneon.
9. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Use the Service to violate Etsy's terms of service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal extension use
- Share or resell your account or API access
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
10. Availability and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any lost sales, revenue, or data arising from use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@blackneon.ai.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
